As with all Induction hobs, this cooktop will heat up Induction compatible pans incredibly quickly. The heat is also responsive, meaning you can lower the temperature without having to wait a while for the pan to cool - the heat source disappears immediately and helps prevent you ruining a meal you have been slaving over.
Being induction also means it is safer than normal Ceramic or Gas Cookers as the Cooking surface is not the heat source and you get a whole heap of functions such as auto cut-off, spillage indicators and a key lock.
The CI604CTB1 features 4 hob zones each with a booster function in case you need a little more power.
As with all Induction Hobs, this cooktop requires adequate supply of cool air to fully function. The base of the cooktop must have direct unrestricted ventilation to the room where the cooktop is installed.
